Doors Open days with an exhibition and themed excursion.
The new venue for culture – Hanzas Perons – is about to open its doors to public for the first time on 17 and 18 August to introduce with its new look. The Doors Open days will feature a special exhibition of photos telling the story of the rebirth of the place. By applying in advance, one can join the themed excursions with architect Reinis Liepiņš and Hanzas Perons team.

There is a limited number of members in excursion groups, please sign up in advance. Duration: up to 1.5 hours.

During Riga City Festival, Hanzas Perons (16A Hanzas St., Riga) is welcoming everyone to see the building in its new look and learn about the works done for it. The Doors Open days will feature a special exhibition of photos telling the story of the place from its origins and through different stages of its reconstruction. Hanzas Perons will be open on 17 August from 12.00 till 21.00 and on 18 August – from 12.00 till 18.00.

Building reconstruction works were started in September 2017 and it was put in commission in July 2019. The project is designed by Reinis Liepiņš, leading architect at Sudraba Arhitektūra architecture firm. Construction supervision executed by Pillar Architekten, SIA, while the general contractor functions were executed by Pillar Contractor, SIA.
